The Manzanita plant is a metaphor for our times.

Manzanita recovers the bare Earth with the beauty of blossoms and berries and its sensuous winding red bark. Bees and bears both are drawn to this plant and bring their skills of pollination and cultivation to help heal the fire scorched lands.
